Myth 2: The Middle Ages was an all-white period.

This section will start with an overview (probably from articles in The Public Medievalist) about how white supremacists have hijacked the Middle Ages.

Then it will go on with how popular culture has reinforced these narratives (LOTR, tokenism in Game of Thrones, other media), including racist backlash at attempts at inclusion (Robin Hood, Rings of Power, House of the Dragon, etc).
