This site has four streams:
Foundations/basics
The Worldly
The Courtly
The Godly
Each of these streams has its own menu, containing different elements that relate to that stream – these are:
Foundations/basics – foundational materials on how to, structuring, general ideas and inspirations…
The Worldly – resources relating to medieval and medievalist buildings, artefacts such as costume, dwellings, food and drink, pastimes, money, performance and general ‘stuff’…
The Courtly – resources relating to medieval and medievalist chivalric and noble life, such as castles, armor and weapons, tournaments, heraldry and aristocratic pursuits…
The Godly – resources relating to medieval and medievalist religion and mystery, such as symbols, astrology and prophecy, nature, churches and cathedrals and their furnishings…
Each stream menu will be identifiable by the ‘featured image’ in its header, and by the list that accompanies the featured image.
The user can navigate anywhere they wish: please be aware that for any public use of images further copyright permission from repositories or trustees may be needed.
Please contact the site administrator/s for their permission and advice before re-using images or permitting others to re-use outside a closed educational space.
